Hey, my name is Alyssa Pope
I'm Alyssa. I'm the owner and photographer of Pope's Portrait Photography.
Photography became something deeper for me after losing our first daughter. In the middle of the heartbreak and devastation, I found myself holding onto every photo of her- replaying them, studying each and every detail, grateful for each one. These images became more than pictures...they became pieces of her I could still revisit and hold onto.
That experience changed the way I viewed life.
It made me realize how quickly time moves, and how meaningful it is to have something to physically look at; to take you back to the exact moment and how it felt.
That's why I do what I do.
I'm here to capture it all. The quiet, the messy, the in-beteen...so you'll have something to hold onto and last for generations.
